Childhood Fears

When I was about 4 years old I lived in an older house and I was terrified of the basement there. For some strange reason I thought that there was a tiger living in our basement. I'd follow my mom all around the house for all day long but as soon as she'd go down into the basement, I'd run upstairs and hide under the covers of my bed so that the "tiger" wouldn't get me. I'm not even sure how this fear started really. Obviously that fear wasn't logical and didn't make any sense at all but I guess when you're little you'll believe anything. To me that tiger was totally real.

  1. Don't you find it ironic that you were scared of a "tiger" in your basement but our school mascot is a tiger. HAHA. it's like your subconcious was making you scared of school. Haha. Basements are scary though! :D
